I would like to introduce you to TOOCEE UP COUNTRY, promoting new and exciting Lodges and retreats, attractions and tours, for tourist both local & international & corporate market, where we offer conferencing, functions, breakaways, teambuilding & product launches or a wonderful getaway for your national or international client. Situated an hour & a half from Durban, in Southern KwaZulu-Natal midland, outside the village of Ixopo, the home of “Cry the Beloved Country” written by the well-known author Alan Paton. Guests will be able to explore and enjoy the history and beauty of the surrounding area with its rolling green hills, timber forests, thornveld and two of the biggest white water rivers in the country, the Umzimkulu River and the mighty Mkomazi River.

2019 Creighton Aloe Steam Train & Hot Air Balloon Festival
Bookings have opened for Our 2019 Annual Aloe Steam Train rides and Hot Air Balloons from the weekend 29 /30th June every weekend till 27/28th July. The train ride will depart at 10am and return by 1pm approx 2.30min/3 hours long, with 2 stops.
For the Festival weekend Saturday 6th we have 2 departures, 10am and 2pm and on Sunday 7 July depart at 12 noon. (Balloon trips only on Festival weekend 6 & 7 July),

For all other weekends You will be able to pre book lunch which will be served at the Creighton Club after the train ride,
Details will be available on your confirmation email…bookings are essential for catering purposes and is an awesome way to end of the day..

and we will then send you email confirmation with the banking details, directions etc.
Return train ride is approximately 3hrs long with 2 stops along the way.

The Eshayamoya Picnic train trips
We Normally have One trip on a Sunday in Oct & Two trips in Dec a Sat & Sun. Train departs 10am & returns approx 3pm. Dates still to be finalized.
Bring along your Picnic Baskets/ Cooler Bags, Blankets/ umbrellas/ camp chairs, Costumes,
Fishing Rods or Hiking Boots, Binoculars & cameras
Whatever you choose to do we will ensure you have a Fun day.
1. Depart 10am travel to Riverside Station, We stop for approx 15min to explore whilst the engine moves into position for the return trip.
- We stop at the river for your Picnic. approx 2 / 3 hrs
*(Please be at the station at least 30-45 min before departure time to collect tickets. Seats are allocated)*
There will be Egg & Bacon Rolls, teas & coffees on sale at Creighton Station. Refreshments & snacks for sale on the train.
